The Brightstar Collective are performing in Chorlton on Saturday 17 October. The event has been heavily publicized around several of the churches in the area, including Wilbraham St. Ninian’s, Chorlton Central URC and some of the other groups and congregations who meet in the area, and also around the local arts scene.
The program will include songs by Steven Devine, some excellent visual work by Rich Coan, and original songs and poetry by Neil Whitaker and Steve Gray. Do come along and support the event and learn more about some important new developments in the work of the Congo Children Trust.

Place: Central Methodist Church, Glossop, Derbyshire
In November, the Collective are at Central Methodist Church in Glossop on the edges of Greater Manchester and the Peak District.
The event will include a mixture of video, art and music performed by the Collective alongside a local children’s choir who will be singing some African songs. We are also hoping to involve some young dancers from St. Philip Howard Catholic School. We are aiming to attract as many people as possible from the local schools, community organisations and churches. This is the second event by the Collective in Glossop and promises to be an enjoyable and informative evening.
